[05/03/2021] If you played "Coercion" from a zone other than your hand (like the recruitment area, the void, your discard pile, etc.), then the second half of its ability will not resolve.
[10/14/2021] If you played "Coercion" from your hand, you do have to reveal another player's hand. However, you do not have to play a card from their hand.
